The team of weave magazine asked us if we could provide an article for the first and brand new issue which was published in September 2009. The weave is a new spin-off from german design magazine PAGE and will concentrate more on interactive design, conception and development.

Our first article for issue 05/09 was a tutorial about toyhacking called »boys need toys«. We explained the procedure of hacking a simple hexbug roboter for a mixed reality labyrinth game which was controlled via a Processing and Arduino interface.

The upcoming  article will deal with different types of prototypes and why prototyping is so important for the design process. This article will be released under the title »Schöpfungsgeschichte« in weave 06/09.
