Quasar Touch – Our new iPad game

Finally, our new game for iPad is available on the App Store. We call it Quasar Touch, and it takes you into a world of dark emptiness, where your only objective is to protect a source of light.
We like the simple gameplay that can change rapidly from easy to challenging. The soundscape has been generously provided by russian artist x3d5.
Quasar Touch has been created using OpenFrameworks (which is increasingly replacing Processing as my weapon of choice for creative coding).
We’d love to hear what you think about Quasar Touch! Let us know in the comments.
Quality Seal for Quasar Interactive

We have just been notified that our installation »Quasar Interactive« has won a Quality Seal at the Europrix Multimedia Awards 2010. We’re proud to be one of the few among the 300 entries from 30 countries to receive this seal.
If you don’t know what Quasar Interactive is, here’s a little video walkthrough.
Interview about Quasar Interactive
When we were at Campus Futuro in Madrid to showcase our installation Quasar Interactive, I had a short conversation with the people from La Catedral. They now published the video. Enjoy!
Quasar Forever
First of all: We’re back in Munich! After a lovely little bus tour that took almost 36 hours nonstop, we can finally start publishing some in-depht updates about what we actually did in Madrid.
Our new installation Quasar Interactive now has its own microsite! It’s still a little beta, but we’ll keep updating it as we finalize our project documentation.
Also, we took the liberty of uploading the following little clip to YouTube in order to give you a peek into what Quasar Interactive actually is. Sorry for the crappy audio quality – again, we’ll have something better up as soon as possible.
Our last day at Campus Party
Some 800 young people from the EU united at Madrid for this special event, bein held during the Spanish Presidency of the EU. People took part in forums, workshops and presentations relating to science, digital creativity and innovation. We had a nice time there at the Campus Future presenting Earthwalk and Quasar interactive.
They received a lot of positive feedback from the participants. Today is the last day and we‘re deassambling the installations. We will publish some photo and video material the next days. Thank you and we see us again at another Campus Party, maybe.
